Ingredients

  • 1 bottle red wine such as Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/2 cup brandy
  • 1/4 cup orange liqueur such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup mixed berries blackberries, blueberries, raspberries, and chopped strawberries
  • 1 orange sliced
  • 1 lemon sliced
  • 1 lime sliced
  • 2 cups sparkling water or club soda
  • Fresh mint leaves for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large pitcher, combine 1 bottle red wine, 1/2 cup brandy, 1/4 cup orange liqueur, and 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup. Stir well to combine.
  • Add 1 cup mixed berries, 1 orange (sliced), 1 lemon (sliced), and 1 lime (sliced) to the pitcher. Gently muddle the fruit to release their juices.
  • Cover the pitcher and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Just before serving, add 2 cups sparkling water or club soda to the pitcher and stir gently.
