Equipment

  • 2 Mixing Bowls
  • Pie Tin 9 Inch

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 6 Tbsp melted butter
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 14 oz sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup key lime juice
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • Whipped cream and lime slices for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and 6 Tbsp melted butter. Mix well.
  • Press the mixture into a 9-inch pie dish, making sure it is even and well-packed.
  • Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then remove from the oven and let cool.
  • In a separate mixing bowl, whisk together 4 egg yolks and 14 oz sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
  • Add 1/2 cup key lime juice and 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream to the egg yolk mixture, and whisk until fully combined.
  • Pour the lime mixture into the cooled crust, and smooth it out with a spatula.
  • Bake the pie for 15-20 minutes, or until the filling is set.
  • Remove the pie from the oven and let it cool to room temperature, then chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  • Garnish with whipped cream and lime slices before serving.
